I'm surprised a riot didn't break out! I've seen and heard about it happening at other tournaments for a lot less than what that ref did.

If that was my student getting stomped on the head, that sensei better be prepared to do the same to me because if he didn't, I'd give him a taste of his own medicine with interest!

I don't know whatever became of the ref - if he was barred from tournaments or if his organization had anything to say of the matter. Supposedly the other competitor was related to Fushiki, but I don't think that's been verified. If anyone can turn something else up that's credible we'd all like to hear it. As of this writing, info is scarce.

That was totally uncalled for! The Ref. had no right to do that to the guy while he was done. Reminds of what I used to see with bias that I had seen between all forms of martial arts through the years.
